Power Perceived is Power Achieved

Have you ever watched that 90’s movie called The Substitute, where the antagonist in the film — the principal — would often use the phrase, “Power perceived is power achieved”? It was a fun film, and that phrase had an impact on me.

As all DH listeners are aware, during Covid there were many small and major victories, although rarely were those victories obvious. For example, it was almost universally accepted that Covid came from nature. It wasn’t until dissident voices embarrassed that narrative to the point of Goliath reluctantly conceded ground.

Something that is very difficult for me is to spot when those victories happen because it usually takes a long time until change takes place, and I’m already caught up in the “Next thing”. I often depend on the likes of DH podcast to point out when Goliath is acting in ways it wishes it didn’t have to, such as reporting on potential vaccine harms or acknowledging natural immunity.

I think when it comes to narrative control, the media is all but destroyed. Even the most stringent Covidian seems to be waking up to the many crazy narratives we are being told. People can’t ignore the influence some foreign countries seem to have over our foreign policy, or the problems with our food supply and the failures of the FDA.

What I think is happening now is that Goliath has deployed a new strategy that I call “Everything is going exactly as planned.” I think Goliath has determined that it can no longer push even the most simple narratives and is instead now elevating certain truth tellers, such as Professor Jiang Xueqin.

Professor Jiang talks about the Illuminati and how they control the world. I don’t think Professor Jiang is part of some conspiracy or a limited hangout. Instead, I think he is being elevated from obscurity to spread the perception of an all-powerful cabal that controls everything. But the real goal, in my view, is that they are now “letting you in on the secret.” Now you know that the true rulers are all-powerful and that “everything is going to plan.”.

To me, this feels like a last-ditch effort to rob us of those victories so that we give up spiritually, to demoralize individuals into thinking it’s hopeless. However, from my perspective, this attempt is just as phony as “The Science.” Their trust is in free-fall, people are starting to unite, and they are in full panic mode
