00:08:34 Bret, you have talked about your experiences to enhance your capability for lucid dreaming. You have also hypothesized that some psychiatric conditions such as schizophrenia could be caused by the brain not adequately distinguishing dreaming from reality. With that in mind, do you think it's risky to try to manipulate the boundary between awake and dreaming?

00:14:57 Potatoes in the chat: cooking methods for lower glycemic index potatoes and rice

00:23:26 Tricks to get to lucid dreaming in the chat

00:26:25 You’re critical of health metrics, and especially the long-term dependence and the incentives behind them. But is there value in temporary use of medical devices to train lived bodily awareness? Many people struggle to notice what their bodies are doing or to connect cause and effect. I (a non-diabetic) used a glucose monitor briefly and learned patterns I can now feel and recognize without the device. Could tools like this help train awareness rather than replace it? if so, how would we avoid sliding into dependence?

00:40:13 Heather, I need you to give me a good conscience. I am French, and I have an unreasonable love for bread (I bake my own organic sourdough). The problem is, all I hear is that grains are basically poison for us and that we should banish them from our diet. Is that really the case? More seriously, is it reasonable to think that good bread (and sometimes home baked cakes, etc.) can be a part of an otherwise healthy and varied diet? It didn’t cost me much to ditch the seed oils because I was always a butter girl, but the wheat is a hard one. Signed, an otherwise very healthy 42 year-old mom with a bread addiction.

00:51:15 Hi Brett & Heather, I’m a mom to 3 kids and at their last wellness appt. our pediatrician, who thankfully “thinks outside of the box”, recommended doing a parasite cleanse for our kids and family (including our 2 dogs). She mentioned that in many societies/countries it is the norm to occasionally cleanse and she believes it should also be standard practice in developed countries as well, regardless of how low the perceived risk of parasite infection is. Thoughts?

00:58:09 Do you know why people seem to need to keep taking probiotics in order to maintain the effects? Is there some key problem in modernity that stops the beneficial bacteria from colonizing long-term? Are bad bacteria and fungi killing them? I want to reach homeostasis. Thanks, love you guys!

01:04:11 My wife and I always disagree about sun exposure. She believes 20 minutes a day of direct sun is healthy, but beyond that she avoids it or uses sunscreen, and I can never convince her otherwise. She recently had a basal cell spot removed, which made me back off a bit. She’s 40 now but was always in the sun and getting burned often until around age 30. She has fair skin and looks great with some color, but now worries about the aging effects and more skin cancer. What would you guys recommend as an appropriate amount of sun for someone with her history and skin type?

01:13:55 On Rogan, you said that according to Pierre Kory, 38/40 people who won their case and received Ivermectin lived, and 2/40 who lost their case lived. That means 38 out of 40 people who did not receive Ivermectin would have died, which seems extreme. Was Covid so bad that 38/40 people in any group would be dying? It doesn't seem like the underlying data for this is available anywhere - would this be worth deep diving to make sure this statistic is true? Because if it is true, it's a really big deal! But if not it probably shouldn't be spread around, right?

01:17:50 I have a good friend that has a notable covid vaccine injury. I have encouraged her to see Peter McCullough about getting detoxed and input about next best steps. She asked her personal physician about McCullough and was told he is a quack. She looked him up and told me that his early treatment protocols were discredited, etc, etc.

I want to offer her a short rebuttle and possibly a short animated video about the spike protein and how it affects the body after the injection, along with some information about pertinent studies, and why the system rejects McCullough and his peers. I am concerned for her life. Can you recommend any """"easy"""" websites, possibly a few sentences of response? And any other help you think of?

01:21:51 Hi Heather and Bret. Vaccines -how to compile a case for consideration of a partner who hasn’t yet appreciated the risks involved. We’re planning on having children and while my partner is generally open-minded she’s quite stuck on this issue but she’s never been presented with the case against. Could you do a standalone show, even privately here on locals, as a dedicated source which presents evidence that one should consider when evaluating the choice to vaccinate or not? Or in the meantime, some accessible papers, books, or podcasts?

Ps thank you both for answering our questions with such detail and critical thought. All the best to you both and your family. Greetings from Colombia

01:31:25 My wife is increasingly frantic that our 3 month old child is not 'protected' by vaccination. She is a physician (infectious disease) and believes that the burden/risk of disease outweighs the undefined risks to health from vaccination. The enormous failures of Vioxx, Oxycontin, Glyphosate, Talc/Asbestos, DES, MRNA, etc... do not translate from outliers to commonplace. With two competing fears - obvious illness vs uncertain ill health - I am at a loss to sway her from consensus scientism.

Most are not willing to risk disease if current vaccines both do harm and prevent some disease. When lies become too big to truth, how can I break through to someone whose stature, livelihood, and child's well-being seem to depend on getting in line?

01:38:47 Multiple Vaxx on same day/week. ? Do multiple injections result in multiple doses of ADJUVANTS? THX -Marco from Central OR

01:41:08 Model check: 1986 NCVIA protects bad manufacturer in USA. Shouldn't we expect lawsuits in other countries? It's hard to believe the same playbook can work across countries without similar protections.

01:43:53 I work in the animal health industry and have had questions regarding the safety of our industry's K9 vaccines ever since you discussed their human counterparts a number of years ago. Many of these vaccines are adjuvanted and while they MAY reduce the risk of Leptospirosis (for example), I fear that they are increasing the total number of dogs who suffer from allergic dermatitis. Allergic dermatitis is the number one reason a dog visits a veterinary clinic. In the back of my mind, I believe that a large percentage of dogs BECAME allergic as a direct result of their heighten immune repones to these adjuvanted vaccines. Can you put my mind at ease or do I have cause for concern?

01:48:33 Have you made any new progress on vitamin D supplements and the contaminants / adjavents that seem to be prevalent in most vitamin D capsules? The last time you discussed the vitamin D supplements issue, you seemed skeptical about the benefit to risk ratio in these, given they don't seem to be what they're advertised as (cod liver oil)

01:52:11 Allan Savory is 90 years old. His memoir "UnSavory" will soon be published. He has been attacked for ~50 years for his views. Would you please reach and interview him before it's too late. It seems clear to me that he published a solution to a problem, that if not reversed, could put our civilisation in peril, in the same way many have in the past; part of which being, how to feed the cities of that civilisation after centuries of raping the land (And yes, full disclosure, I'm working with 3LM one of the Savory Institute hubs in Ireland).

01:54:21 I am 27 year old male who has recently entered a long term committed relationship with woman that had been going very very well overall. However sometimes we enter into disagreements about sex, gender, and other issues and sometimes I give way to my emotions and lose my composure. What advice do you have for maintaining love for the other while engaging in such arguments?

Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying discuss censorship and the war in Iran:

We have "cartesian blinders being put on us so that we are trying to make sense out of scraps of information and hints." - @bretweinstein

00:02:06
Who exactly belongs in the Stone Ages?

WEINSTEIN: I mean, even if you have your villains who are engaged in the behavior that motivated this war in Iran, even if that's the story, presumably most of the people in the path of these ferocious bombings that he is describing are not deserving of going back to the Stone Age.

In fact, I distinctly remember him telling us that part of what we were up to was liberating the people of Iran from their tyrannical regime.

So if it's the tyrannical regime that justifies the ferocious bombing, then it's a tragedy that other people are going to be sent back to the Stone Ages with them. Right?

HEYING: It's it's not a narrative. It's an incoherent set of talking points.

WEINSTEIN: Yeah, it's a kind of cheerleading that is completely inappropriate from the perspective of the president.

Bret Weinstein discusses the Trump administrations "back to the stone age" recent remarks in the latest episode of The Evolutionary Lens, Episode 320 "Are we back in the stone age?" on DarkHorse.

Washington's 9.9% "Millionaires Tax" Isn't That Simple

Bret Weinstein explains, "If you stop businesses from starting here, and if you drive people so that they move elsewhere—even though it's difficult to do—then the point is the tax base dries up, which then forces you to become even more predatory for the people who stayed.

And that's really the thing, right? They're setting themselves up so that they have to go after more and more people, because the people who are starting new businesses are not going to do it here."

@bretweinstein Re: Ep. 330, What Is Fascism?
Spoiler: It's Communism.

Remember a few years ago when we were all arguing "does this whole left-right spectrum even mean anything?" bc conservatives were just as up in arms about Trump as liberals, and yet Trump was so popular on "the right," so other than leaping to "fascists," one had to question, what exactly is "right wing?"

Strongly recommend you read Curtis Yarvin/Mencious Moldbug/Neo-Reactionary theory to get the big picture, but Michael Malice will tell you, short and sweet: Conservativism is just Progressivism driving the speed limit. True, but you may be asking, "In what universe?" People loosely recalled it was noted in the first French democratic parliament that liberals sat on the left, "conservatives" on the right. What was less noted was that specifically, those on the right... were kinda happy with the king and generally accepted the previous status quo, while acknowledging its issues. They wanted as little to change as possible, and would've been ...

Am I the only one who thinks this about Trump's recent GAFFE?

The other day Trump says something like, we need to end the war because we are REALLY getting dangerously low on oil, and WE only have enough for four more weeks. I thought, geeeeez that's kind of strange to tell your advisory that they almost destroyed you and that closing the straight of Hormuz has seriously weakened you.

Now today, the news is all about how the talks are falling apart, and when Monday rolls around, the markets could tank like never before. I sold off 80% of my investments on Thursday, today I am able to breathe a sigh of relief knowing how crazy I would be feeling right now.

I hope there are others who saw Trump showing his hand, as a bad play, a REAL BAD PLAY!!!

Or,,, Or was this the plan all along; Sabotage the peace talks and turn Iran into dust? When Iran goes BOOM, IRAN will send their nukes to Israel. That's just how I see this unfolding, anyone else notice Trumps comments on Wednesday?
