My Original Conspiracy "Theory"
The first podcast that I really fell in love with was Dan Carlin's Hardcore History, and also his political podcast Common Sense. That was when I realized that I actually do enjoy learning and enjoy reading.
Anyway, during a February 2014 Common Sense episode titled Poking the Bear, he accurately predicted that US meddling in overthrowing the Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych (through what is called a color revolution) would eventually provoke Russia into invading Ukraine. Many political commentators noticed this at the time as well, not just Dan.

Well, I had my first huge red-pill moment back then. In 2014, I remember Dan, and other political commentators, were gaining traction pointing out the folly of US foreign policy but then in October 2014 then gay marriage was legalized and never again did I see any mention of Ukraine. To me, that ruling was too perfectly timed, and since then I became incredibly suspicious of anything I hear or read from the media.

Question for next Q&A: you two have recently expressed interest in the diaster cycles such as the younger dryas. How much weight do you give the idea that these diaster cycles may be the missing data we need for evolution? How possible is it for evolution to make adaptations for something that takes 12 thousand years or more? After all, it keeps happening and the price for being unprepared is extinction. Hard to test until the poles fully flip as Ben describes.
