Breaking Out of the Silo
Bret often talks about the Cartesian crisis, and I’m not sure I interpret it exactly the same way he does. To me, it means refactoring your thoughts (I’m a software developer, so I think in those terms). It’s stressful because it requires revisiting old beliefs, memories, and assumptions, and checking them against biases you didn’t realize you had. For example, I had to completely rethink how I viewed people like Sam Harris and Noam Chomsky.
I’m not someone who normally watches TV, but there is a multi season show called Silo that struck me as the perfect metaphor for the Cartesian crisis. It’s about people living in a massive underground bunker after a post-apocalyptic event, all raised on a tightly controlled, false story about history and the world in general. The story goes, a few characters start to realize that (surprise) that what they were told about history and the world itself is mostly wrong.
When it comes to the Charlie Kirk shooting, I don’t like talking about it any more than I like talking about mRNA injections or 9/11. I’ve burned a lot of bridges, i don't mean to humble brag or anything but I would nickname myself as a bridge-burner (total Malazan reference :-)). As a former infantryman who served in Afghanistan, it was my full time job to understand weapons and handle them daily. So, when it comes to the Tyler Robinson .30-06 story, I had none of it.
Goliath can claim the death of Charlie Kirk to be victory, but it is most certainly a pyrrhic victory. They could have killed him in a seeming car wreck or some other means, but it was decided by the goliaths to be that it should be public and messy. As a result, people are learning all sorts of stuff, including the violation of tax laws, exposed by @financeWolves, by spending millions of dollars on employees that don’t exist.

The real point I really want to make is this, in a world where there is a lot of injustice, it’s important to celebrate the victories when they come because it’s not obvious when there is a victory. No official sources will say as much. I dare you, have a drink or two, (or your equavalent) and celebrate how hard it is for Goliath to pull off what use to be a seemingly simple operation.

Heresy and the Evolution of Goliath
Over the last few years, I have been trying to make sense of the world I see around me, and in the process, I’ve landed in a very strange place, as anyone else who might have if they questioned any of the many narratives being shoved down our throats.
I’m from Wisconsin, and lately, I’m reminded of Aaron Rodgers, how he went from being the most celebrated human being in Wisconsin to basically a heretic for denying the vaccine. If you’re not from Wisconsin, it’s hard to explain just how big Aaron Rodgers was, the guy was bigger than Bret Favre and Vince Lombardi. He could sneeze on a cloth and could auction it off for a lot of $$. Anyways, I remember well being at a usual WhatsApp neighborhood Packer party a few years back, everyone brought homemade food. We had a Covid circle of trust going, where we all agreed to only hang out with each other (covid lockdown loophole) which I’m sure none of us violated :-P. I am a stirfry guy so I brought some fried...
Are we living through a Color Revolution?
Why Color Revolutions are more than fighting with Crayons
When I think of a color revolution, I’m reminded of the movie Inception, where an agent tries to plant the seed of an idea so the host acts in a way that benefits someone else. The entire scheme only works if the host is unwitting, if they never realize the idea wasn’t originally theirs.
A major feature of a color revolution is the ability to influence or control media narratives. For example, when it comes to Ukraine or Syria, organizations connected to the U.S. State Department, often through USAID funded NGOs such as the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), as well as well-funded networks associated with figures like George Soros, are frequently described as helping set up or support media outlets that shape public opinion and bolster opposition movements. The book Creative Chaos is great on this subject; it describes in detail how Facebook and other platforms were able to bypass Syrian ...
To the person who asked about methylation in the Q&A, I recommend the book “Dirty Genes” by Dr. Ben Lynch, available on Amazon: https://a.co/d/6qw1DrQ
He also has a great genetic report available here: https://www.seekinghealth.com/products/strategene-report
I have found the report really helpful, but you can follow his protocol in the book to clean up diet and environmental toxins without the report.
I have many genetic SNPs in my folate pathway. Removing all the folic acid from my diet has been a huge game changer.
