00:00:00 Welcoming Heather Back

00:06:46 Q: Have either of you considered the possibility of civilizations being much older than what the available evidence suggests? If the hypotheses put forth by people like Graham Hancock are true & we have had one or more advanced civilizations wiped out either by solar flares or comets or meteors or all of them around 11,000 years ago, where does it leave us? At least in the last 20 years, we've forgotten the universe outside our phones and it may spell our doom, like it has probably done before.

00:27:38 Q: What is the purpose of collecting things? How is it adaptive to have a massive salt and pepper collection or a collection of precious moments figurines that you have to make space for and take care of? Why do we do this?

00:43:58 Q: This is part of a conversation that's already happening, so I'm just gonna read the comment. I'm not confusing terms. In the literature, there are different opinions on how to identify excursions, but commonly it's when the virtual geomagnetic pole deviates more than some conventional limit from the geographic pole, often 45 degrees, and or when field intensity drops below some critical value, e.g. 50% of the present day field, I assume you mean the geomagnetic field.(...) The word excursion is actually a sort of term of art in our field, so I just wonder if people are using a rigorous definition when they claim we are in an excursion.

00:44:57 Q: Hello, Heather and Bret. I hope you’re feeling better, Heather. A question about the synchronisation of menstrual cycles in humans. And other animals too for that matter. What’s the evolutionary reason for it, what advantage does it entail? Thanks

00:53:10 "From my understanding, menstruation was rare in the ancestral environment.
2 questions:

  • if a woman has a set number of eggs, does that mean menopause happened later in life in the ancestral environment?
  • may the menstrual mood swings & food cravings have ancestrally served as a signal for women (who are generally naturally agreeable) that something in their lifestyles was wrong, thus prompting them to disagree with the habits of their kin, seeking new food sources or even changing partner?
Thanks, hope Heather gets better soon. Much love to you two."

01:04:37 Loved the episode on Building 7. I remember when I first started watching you, you made fun of 9/11 "conspiracy theorists" & I was surprised & disappointed at that. Glad to see you came around, just wondering what made you change your mind? Many thanks.

01:07:15 In regards to your 9/11 segment, is a more likely albeit banal conspiracy entail mass corruption and fraud in the construction of the twin towers with severely substandard concrete and steel due to illicit enrichment schemes/graft by companies, unions, and local politicians infiltrated by organized crime for decades who cut countless corners while paying kickbacks...essentially, that most of the US metro skylines are populated with buildings built like paper mache that can be destroyed through office fires and no action is taken due to the implications for public trust, sweeping criminal indictments of elites, billions in insurance claims, the net worth of prominent figures/international money launderers tied up in garbage properties, etc.?

01:16:04 What is the strongest piece of advice you can give to a newlywed couple for a long, healthy marriage — one piece of advice for the wife and one for the husband, each as it relates to our evolved, yet complementary differences.

01:37:33 Sorry, I was listening to this, but I see the most recent comment: “Is Brett and Heather have a very healthy and anomalous relationship? I think that's true,” thank you. But then you say “this is not a likely possibility for vanilla masses for at large.”

01:38:27 Do you think the risk of emf/emr to small children warrants not buying an EV as a family vehicle? What if the design of the vehicle along with the position of car seats results in their bodies being more than 2 ft away from the battery and motors? The vehicle in question can have it's cellular and wifi capabilities disabled.

01:44:24 What are your thoughts on methylene blue? I’ve come across claims that it supports mitochondrial function, enhances cognition, and has anti-aging effects. Some also mention potential benefits in preventing Alzheimer’s disease. Thank you for being good human beings, keep up the good work!

01:48:36 Are you familiar with genetic methylation tests from people like Gary Brecka? Of course, there can’t be an outbreak of serious genetic flaws. However, I’m in a pit with my health. Maybe I can learn of some susceptibilities affecting the methylation process. My microbiome is so damaged that essentially every single food makes me ill. Most probiotics, too. I’ve made great progress though, thanks to a lot of your information! Love you guys.

01:51:25 The show on AI grandma reminded me of another venue AI has made a significant impact: the court room. There's a story of a man who was killed in Arizona during a road rage incident. The family generated an AI video of the man killed & submitted it as a victim impact statement. It was not very well done, BUT it did move the judge. In fact, it moved him so much, that while the prosecution only asking for 9 years, the judge handed down the MAXIMUM sentence of 12 years! Precedent has been set, now how do we get in front of these AI issues with legislation? Let the unwinding begin. PS- Here's the video breakdown of the issue from a really interesting mortician who brought the story to my cave wall. All the Best -A https://youtu.be/GWir9notTag

Is Bret allergic to European wheat?

No live stream today, instead Bret is running an experiment from Spain.

Bret and Heather, both expressed openness to the idea of recurrent ~6,000- and ~12,000-year solar/geomagnetic catastrophe cycles, largely following Ben Davidson’s model.
How does one reconcile that with the unbroken, multimillion-year fossil and genetic continuity of eastern North American tree species, most notably Asimina triloba (pawpaw), but also beech, sugar maple, tulip poplar, hickory, and dozens of others?
These lineages show no hiatuses, no re-colonization events, and no genetic bottlenecks aligned with the proposed 12 kyr cadence, even though many are understory or mesic species that could not possibly survive centuries of micronova-induced darkness, rapid crustal displacement, or a sudden 30–40° latitudinal shift.
If these cycles are truly catastrophic enough to reset human civilization and drive periodic megafaunal extinctions, why is the botanical clock of the eastern deciduous forest completely unaffected?
In other words: catastrophic for whom, exactly?

In the Q and A, Heather asked about Methylene Red. Here it is, it's a marketing term for a supplement designed to complement Methylene Blue. I use both blue and red and got a super charge from Methylene Red. Methylene Blue gave me only increased focus, though many say they get an energy boost too from it.

Goliaths Will Goliath

The Quiet Attack on the Dissident Movement

Lately, when I scroll through X, I’m noticing a coordinated-feeling push toward both Islamophobia and a distorted form of “antisemitism”, not in the obvious sense, but in ways that seem designed to weaponize identity rather than help anyone understand what is actually happening. I want to break these two dynamics down and explain what I think is really going on.

Creating Islamophobia

None of this is new. The idea that Islam is fundamentally incompatible with Western society was a signature narrative of the early 2000s, right at the peak of the Iraq War propaganda cycle. That was the era when figures like Sam Harris and Douglas Murray were appearing on every major network, presenting themselves as cultural truth-tellers while reinforcing talking points that aligned perfectly with neoconservative foreign-policy goals.

Meanwhile, many anti-war voices were marginalized or mocked. Anyone who questioned the official line was painted as unpatriotic, ...
