00:01:11 Welcome
00:03:44 Q: You have said that speciation is real, but species is not. Following certain recent discussions in Podcastistan, would you also say that expertise is real, but experts aren't?
00:30:39 Q: Regarding the discussion around Douglas, Konstantin etc. I am a big fan of Konstantin Kisin, Joe Rogan, and Douglas Murray! My impression: you’re misrepresenting each other—please talk TO each other, not ABOUT each other. I learned a lot from the Dave-Douglas JRE debate! Kudos to Joe, more of that, not less please! I agree with Douglas on some points, but his “expert class” push is gatekeeping, which you critiqued too. That is what already killed trust in legacy media (COVID, politics) & social media (Twitter Files). We need open discussion, even “wrong” views!
00:33:09 Q: Idea: Joe Rogan hosts a roundtable with all four, I’d be all ears! What do you think? Could be a blueprint for future discussions.
00:34:04 Q: Covid (particularly Ivermectin) showed that the deep state will allow people to die to advance it goals. After 10/7, you immediately questioned how that border security could be breached as it was. Given that the Israeli conflict is SO divisive to many cohesive groups, do you think it was allowed to happen (at least in part) to break the unity coalition that was forming behind Trump? It seems to be working.
00:36:21 Q: In my darker moments I wonder if Rogan is a deep state plant. Appear heterodox and honest; build an auduence, then point everyone back to the elites.
39:44 Q: Is it possible that the hard lines both Douglas Murray and Konstantin Kisin are taking in regards to Western culture and history are due to earnest and necessary bulwarks against the dissolution of a form of governance that is obviously flawed but also better than any of the others? They both have direct experience of what other ideologies and mindsets create politically, so perhaps the once a goodie/now a baddie narrative I'm witnessing is missing the greater context
48:37 Q: During early covid, I was trying , as Darkhorse advised, to find diverse voices, seeking falsification, particularly those who advocated for the new “vaccine”. Drs. John Campbell and Vinnay Prassad were 2 of the most compelling thinkers. Recently, it seemed as if Bret had named Prassad (episode 273 1:13:50) as one to be suspicious of, as one of the problematic middleground voices. I am struggling to understand this in his case. I have found his analysis of the problems of current science in alignment with what I hear here. His takedown of Rochelle Walensky’s incompetence also aligns. Can you please help me understand what I am missing?
53:20 Q: I wanted to call your attention to the recent Andrew Sullivan podcast episode where he really grilled Frances Collins on Proximal Origins / Lab Leak. The Covid section of the episode was the most adversarial interview of anyone not named Donald Trump or JD Vance that I've heard in recent memory. Sullivan isn't a scientist but did his homework and held his own in questioning Collins, although Collins' slickness under fire demonstrated why he rose so high in the ranks. No question from me - just wanted to share since I thought you'd be interested...podcast link here fyi https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/francis-collins-on-faith-and-lab-leak/id1536984072?i=1000704033270
58:16 Q: "Why is it that almost all doctors are unaware of the actual research on vaccines and autism? After completing my vaccine book, I realized something deeply unsettling: we were never taught—or even exposed to—the full body of research (or the lack of it) around vaccines and autism. We’re told again and again that “the science is settled,” yet when you actually look into the data, it’s clear that the science is far from settled. Only the MMR vaccine has been meaningfully studied in connection with autism, while the rest of the routine childhood vaccines have never been rigorously examined for this outcome.."
01:01:22 Q: "Hi Heather and Bret. Your stance on vaccines -no liability etc. what does this mean for you both taking inoculations and medicines for travelling to remote tropical regions?
01:03:57 Q: What do you use to wash your clothes (with so many potentially toxic chemicals in most options)?"
01:12:55 Q: What are your thoughts on mindbody driven illnesses? There are some thought leaders online that promote the mind as the cause of, and solution to, many conditions especially on pain, fatigue, and gastrointestinal.
01:18:49 Q: Love you both. Thank you so much for all that you do. Hopefully easy question: what do you recommend to ease severe seasonal allergies? 01:24:10 Q: Traditionally, dogs and cats have 'done their business' outdoors and most humans with pets have never had to deal with cat or dog faeces inside their dwellings. What health impacts do you foresee (aside from the minor boost in immunity from exposure to cross species microbes for really healthy people)? Dogs might still be taken out for a walk, but most indoor cats require humans to interact with their faeces at least on a daily basis. I can't think of any good outcomes in the long run. 01:35:16 Q: Question about tendons & ligaments. A few months ago, I had to take antibiotics for a month. I worry I may have damaged my tendons &/or ligaments. I feel sore in ways I haven't before, feels like I've lost of lot of elasticity. I know Heather had a bad Achilles tendon accident that she relates to her taking antibiotics. Is there anything that can be done to offset the possible damage to tendons & ligaments? Thank you much. Love you both.
01:37:29 Q: I’m doctor of Chinese medicine and fortunate to work in a public clinic. a facilities staff member made a spurious complaint against me for confronting him about doing unscheduled work while I was seeing patients. i was then reprimanded by a female admin, “this is a female run organization, you need to be more passive aggressive”. medicine has had an influx of females and it is well known that women, on average, tend toward agreeableness and less direct, how much of the catastrophic and authoritative covid response was due to a wave of toxic femininity in medicine? Do you think it is an accident that medicine has become more algorhythmic and protocol driven? How much incompetence is hiding behind “standard of care”?
01:54:55 Q: Would you guys ever be interested in a (gravel: trail and road) day-ride on Orcas Island with some of your supporters – maybe this summer or fall? Or we could do San Juan Island instead, but Orcas has some fun elevation and topography. Lots of route options, but we could meet in Moran State Park, maybe starting by looping around the upper Mountain Lake, then out to Doe Bay, down to Eastsound, ride through Crow Valley, and stop at Turtleback Mountain for a declivitous (and delicious) lunch? It’s not hard to get to the top of Turtleback from the southside, just a ten-minute (steep) hike. From Turtleback it’s pretty easy to ride back to the ferry, or even catch a seaplane if you want from West Sound. DAY RIDE OF THE DARK HORSES! 57:22 Q: What is life like as independent "content creators"? What are some of the best and worst aspects, compared to your "old lives" as professors?

Over on Michael Malice's Your Welcome, @bretweinstein was the guest, and afterward, there was a Locals-only Q&A with Bret. The first question was "How would you respond to Scott Adam's conjecture that Simulation Theory is a better explanation for the world than Evolution."
First, props to Bret for pointing out off the bat that Simulation Theory and Creationism are functionally the same thing. Never thought of that, but obviously true.
But second, he extrapolates his own assertion, that the universe seems to be made expressly for evolution, there's too much evidence for it. Any theory that might assert that evolution is not actually happening, it's an illusion, would have to really make you question the character of that Creator.
God would have been DIABOLICAL to design a universe with evolution in it and hide Himself from it after?!? That only a MALEVOLENT god would create a fact pattern and physical structure and law of the universe to suggest that evolution existed just for yuks?

Nothing new to anyone here, but Tom Bilyeu posted a detailed-yet-succinct summary of the issues with "experts." In a 30 minute recap, he covers the need for specialists, and the hazards of tunnel vision and calcification. I'm sharing not to educate you all, but to provide a tool you all could use to summarize 3 years of Dark Horse to your friends, ha.
Fascinating article about mitochondria.
“Diabetes, neurodegenerative conditions, cancer and even mental health illnesses are all emerging as metabolic disorders involving malfunctioning mitochondria.”
